Music Works music programming for client Discovery Networks upfront in the Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Music Works music curation for Harvard University’s symposium on Yoruba traditions featuring the late Ooni of Ife and 10 traditional Oba’s (rulers/kings). Nigerian traditional royal drummers & chanters were brought in from Nigeria to be part of the royal retinue including the late great Master drummer Chief Rabiu Ayandokun.

Music Works celebrates a win, receiving Cuba’s top music honor, the national CubaDisco Premio Especial award for the release of Ilú Keké “Transmisión en la Erita Meta.”

Music Works benefit for the Haiti Earthquake victims featuring members of Parliament Funkadelic and Groove Collective at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City.
