The Beat Suite' is an intimate 1 day meeting with esteemed industry guests in various fields within the music industry. 'The Beat Suite' will cover the fundamentals on all aspects of  #music #production from #management #A&R #Creative #Legal #Licensing #Sampling.  Tastemakers in each field will do 1 hour Q&A's with a moderator and the registrants of that specific topic oriented segment.

A brief introduction of the days agenda and what to expect from the Co Founder of [istandard] and manager for 2x Grammy winning producer Focus... (Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Tha Game) and BMG songwriter Kaydence (Ariana Grande, Nelly, Vic Mensa)

11:00AM- [The Producer Grind] w/ Jimi Kendrix [Grammy Winning Producer for Jay-Z, R Kelly, G Unit & More]

We will discuss the major changes in the placement game from mid 90's to now, how producers need to balance out social media vs live networking and the overall grind when it comes to landing these beats and songs on major projects.

12:00PM- [The Label Grind] w/ J Hatch [Co Founder of istandard/manager for Kaydence, SXYDRPS & ValleysoWavy]

We will be talking about the relevancy of record labels as it pertains to placing records, how to approach A&R's & publishers as well as making sure what you play hits home!

1:00PM- VIP Luncheon & 'Beat Critiques' w/ DJ Static [Immortal Technique DJ/Producer for Busta Rhymes, Loyd Banks] & Frankie P [Producer for Asap Ferg, Meek Mill, Cam'ron]

During lunch, All attendees will receive a beat critique [1 track or song/90 second snippet and feedback] so bring a USB. Beat critiques are random, not with both.

2:00PM- [The Songwriter Grind] w/ Kaydence [Singer/ Songwriter for Ariana Grande, Cassie, Nelly & More]

The songwriter is one of the most important elements when it comes to landing placements, beats dont always cut it. We will be talking about how writers get placements and how it helps the producer and artist overall.

3:00PM- [The Manager Grind] w/ Matt McNeal [A&R for Dreamville/Interscope/ Mgr for Cozz, Cardiak & Willie B]

The manager of a producer, writer or an artist plays an integral role in the placement process. Who do you need to know as a manager, how should you approach other managers, labels and artists to gain placements? We will be discussing all of this and more!

4:00PM- The Beat Suite 'Beat Crawl' & SampleFlipSunday Powered by Effen

All attendees, once seat is purchased will be sent all be sent the same specific sample to flip and will be judged by staff. Top 3 producers will win some cool stuff [soundkits, free show w/ istandard etc] You will also get a chance to showcase 5 beats for one another!
